6. Di mana ada gula di situ adalah gula-gula

10. Gajah mati meninggalkan gading, udang harimau mati meninggalkankulit, manusia mati meninggal dunia

11. Sedangkan lidah lagi tergigit, inikan pula makanan di dalam mulut.

21. Jika kail panjang sejengkal, beli le yang panjang sikit kalau nak ngail di laut. (beli la pukat tunda lagi baik)

23. Membujur lalu melintang pukang

24. Hujan emas di negeri orang, hujan batu di negeri sendiri, lebih baik hari tak hujan

25. Sebab pul ut santan binasa, sebab mulut habis pulut

27. Kalau sudi katakan sudi, kalau tak sudi boleh blah!!

~it's about time~

Being the eldest in my family..i grow up thinking that "one should never be forced to do what one does not want to do".

until one day, i realise that sometimes we should be forced to do what we do not want to do, and to make it sounds better, people will say "it's for your own good".hm..sometimes we never know something bad is gonna happen until we see the consequences ourselves. but what is the point? the bad thing already happened rite? and people will say "i've told you earlier".

i think it's the time to actually listen to what others are trying to say, do not take it as a command, but rather take it as an advice from the one who cares about you.maybe it's about time to grow up..

ok, first: i can't eat lamb. i don't want why, but i bet it must be because of the smell. however,it does not mean that i can't stand lamb, i'm okay if anything associated with lamb is served on my table, is just that i am not going to eat it. weird huh?

second: i can't wear other lip balm other than NIVEA Essential (the blue one). i can't wear NIVEA cheery or strawberyy, i just can't, my lips will be swollen. ask my fellow roommates. they know how "big" and "pouty" my lips can be. so guys, whoever planning to buy me a lipstick for my birthday, forget it, i will appreciate it if u give me a dozen of NIVEA Essential lip balm. oppss, another thing regarding my lips, i easily get cold sore whenever it is too hot or too hold. in short, extreme weather, makes my lips go bad.weirdo??i believe..

third: i love to go the pharmacy to buy health and beauty stuff. my constant visit will end up buying Johnson & Johnson's stuff (be it the baby powder "blossoms: long-lasting fragrance" and the lotion "simply soft body lotion, 24 hour moisture" and Neutrogena skin care n NIVEA body lotion). i will stop at any pharmacy if i see one in my journey to shop..hihihi...it's not hard to please me, no PRADA or GUCCI to get my attention, any pharmacy will do k..hihi

fourth: i set my alarm an hour (or more) earlier that the time that i want to wake up at. Alin, we share the same "weirdness"..hihi..when the alarm goes off, i will press the snooze button..and will only wake up an hour later..hihi..did this since i was in IPBA.blame IPBA for this weird habit..huhu

fifth: oh yeah..i use the same ringtone "yeah by usher" since 2004, i believe. the moment i bought my new hp that year, i've been using the same ringtone ever since. even though my current hp only has bluetooth and no infrared while my previous one had it, i asked the salesgirl to tranfer the ringtone from my "previously-infrared" hp to her "infrared hp" to my "bluetooth hp", hihi..my abi scolded me for all the fuss tho..huhu..weird huh?

sixth: i love to kiss my sisters on the cheeks (publicly) even though they are 20 and 14 years old..hihi..sometimes they find it irritating but that is what elder sister's is for rite," - to irritate the younger sisters..hihi.. the fighting that we do involve "silent treatment"..we might be fighting during the day, but at night, before we go to sleep, we will kiss each other good night..even though the grudge is still there..hihi..weird sisters huh?

Currently, I am literally addicted to Tyra Banks..yup..the supermodel who has retired and currently hosting her own talk show -"The Tyra Banks Show"..

Logging in her website has been my number one daily activity. My life is not complete until I read her website..(kinda sound like a hardcore fan of her huh?)by logging in her websites I find a a lot interesting tips about ANYTHING, from makeup to solving your financial problem..

So girls..especially makeup freaks..these are some important tips I got from her website that I want to share..read this entry..it's essential, trust me!

Do you know that makeup bags can become a breeding ground for germs and bacteria? Dermatologists say a messy makeup kit can lead to infection, allergic reaction and even acne. The first step to ensure makeup looks great and skin stays acne-free are cleans tools. So girls, keep these tips in mind to avoid any potential irritations that may occur with dirty brushes and products.

You need to clean your brushes. Wash your brushes weekly with a mild dish detergent or a specially formulated cleanser. Make sure they are completely dry before putting them away. use one-use items like Q-tips or disposble sponges. Store makeup in a cool dry spot.

OK girls,now that your tools are clean, look at the products you're putting on your face. This is important, there is a limit to how much makeup you can use at any given time and makeup does go bad, so don't buy more than you need. Bacteris can be found in used makeup. Mascara should be at the top of "DO NOT SHARE" list because conjunctivitis is fairly contagious and virus like herpes can be spread through shared lipstick.

GENERAL SHELF LIFE OF MAKEUP

Mascara: Mascara lasts 3-6 months and is th emost prone of all makeup to spread bacteria because the wand is constantly being dipped.

Concelaer: Lasts about 18 months dueto emulsion (the ingredients will begin to separate). Also, remember that you're generally using concealer to cover blemishes which can be more sensitive and prone to infection than other parts of your face.

Liquid foundation: You should never use liquid foundation after more than one year. Always use a sponge, and not your fingers! If the foundation separates or smells, throw it out.

Loose powder: It can last for years

Eye shadow: Lasts 12-18 months (cream), lasts 2 years if it's powder.

Lip pencil: Lasts for 3 years

Lipstick: Can hold up for 2-3 years, but if there is color change or smell, throw it out.

Lip gloss: Don't keep more than 18 months due to a different formulation chemical composition and the same dipping problem as mascara.

Have you ever thought that one day you would end up to be someone you never thought you would be?

Yup,I have. When I was a little girl, I always thought that I would be an ordinary girl, with a simple life, and would spend the rest of my life as simple as possible. To be honest, I wanted to be recognised as the plain Jane so that I could just disappear whenever I want to.

As I'm getting older and gain more exerience each day I live, I notice that nobody is ordinary. In fact, everybody is somebody. All of us are the ordinary people who do extraordinary things in our life.

Have you ever noticed that sometimes we quote our friends' sayings in our daily conversation. That is one of the ways that show the person is someway significant in our life,whether you realize it or not? Have you ever felt that, at times when the person is right next to you, you never give even a minute to look at her or him properly, or even say how beautiful or smart he/she is that day. Little did you know, even a small acknowledgement from you can actually change his/her feelings fot the rest of her day, or maybe forever. Even a simple sentence as "You look nice today" would give a big impact on a person. You never know how your words and action can actually change a person's life.

My dear comrades, I am writing this as something for me and all of you as food for thoughts. Let's us be somebody,be the ordinary people who do extraordinary things, because we can actually CHANGE somebody or something in our live. Let's make the world a better place to live in. Till then, mates.

1)Beragama dan berakhlak mulia.
Semestinya mengambil berat hal agama Islam terutamya dalam menunaikan solat 5 waktu. Boleh menjadi imam (ketua) dalam keluarga. Perempuan kan ibarat kayu yang bengkok, memerlukan lelaki yang soleh untuk meluruskannya.

2)Bijak
Mempunyai pengetahuan yang luas, sama ada ilmu dunia dan akhirat. Boleh membimbing saya di dunia dan akhirat. Mempunyai wawasan untuk sentiasa memajukan diri.

3)Bertanggungjawab
Bertanggungjawab dalam menjalankan tugas sebagai khalifah Allah di muka bumi. Sedia menjalankan tugas sebagai ketua keluarga. Seseorang yang membuat saya rasa selamat apabila berada dengannya.

4)Memberi ketenangan
Pada saya, seseorang itu mestilh apabila "kita lhat wajahnya, hati kita menjadi tenang dan apabila kta dengar suaranya segala masalah kta boleh hilang"

5)Kelakar
Seseorang itu mestilah mempunyai sense of humour untuk menceriakan suasana. Dia boleh membuat saya senyum sepanjang hari tanpa rasa letih. Dalam masa yang sama, menggelakkan lawak-lawak yang saya cipta..hihi

6)Romantik dan realistik
Sangat peka terhadap diri saya dan penyayang. Dalam setap perbuatannya dapat dilihat dengan jelas yang dia amat menyayangi saya. Expressive.Dalam masa yang sama dia sangat realistik dalam setiap perbuatan yang dilakukan.

7)Berkarisma
Mempunyai keyakinan diri yang tinggi dan bijak dalam membuat keputusan. Seseorang yang sangat rasional dan tegas dalam membuat keputusan. Maklum sajalah, saya ini degil orangnya..hihi

8)Penyabar
Sabar dalam melayan karenah saya, memandangkan saya hanya manusia biasa yang tak lepas daripada melakukan kesilapan.

9)Mempunyai keluarga atau keturunan yang baik.
Keluarga memainkan peranan yang penting. Kesungguhan seseorang itu boleh dilihat daripada hubungannya dengan keluarga. Family man..

10)Menerima saya seadanya
Above all, seseorang itu mestilah menerima saya dan keluarga saya seadanya. Mencinitai seseorang itu bukanlah kerana kesempurnaannya tetapi kerana menerima ketidaksempurnannya.


Kesimpulannya, tanpa saya sedari, saya ingin seseorang yang seperti "abi" saya. Bersyukur pasa Allah, I have found the one...

live life to the fullest..that's what people are advised to do. but do we really really live our life to the fullest? yesterday i watched a movie entitled "wanee and junah" (korean movie) after taking a heavy dinner with wanee, hehehe... while watching the movie,jaime, hannah, wanee and i were aggressively angry towards the heroine of the movie (wanee). why? just because she did not appreciate her bf (junah) who were right in front her very own eyes. instead of appreciating the effort done by junah, wanee was trying to keep herself away from him and kept remembering her childhood memories with her ex. how devastated a bf would feel when your gf is thinking about her ex without even acknowledging your presence in front of her? towards the end of the movie, when junah suddenly decided to go to Seoul for a few days, then only wanee realised that she actually missed junah and everything that junah did. even a small of thought from junah which was to program the television to switch on everytime wanee came home so that she would not feel lonely was enough to make her cry out of guilt. i have learnt from the movie that i should appreciate my loved ones who are always there for me, instead of remembering all the bad memories that may hinder me from moving on with my life.never ever take things for granted, because you never know what may happen tomorrow or will there ever be a tomorrow...so start your day by saying "i love you" to everybody that you love (if possible)..live your live to the fullest with your loved ones and appreciate even small things done by other people. a simple phrase of "thank you" won't hurt right?
